Obituary for Isaac Glover

Isaac Glover was born on September 24, 1956, in Newark NJ to the loving parents of Samuel Sr. and Eva Joanne Glover. He was the second oldest son of seven children. Shortly after his birth his parents moved to Elizabeth, NJ. Later they relocated to Plainfield NJ and found comfort in a quaint home in the town of Plainfield, NJ, where Isaac grew up. Isaac attended Woodland Elementary School, Emerson Elementary School, Maxson Middle School, and Plainfield High School where he graduated in 1975.  He was married to his high school sweet heart, Ida Coleman, for 12 years and out of this union came their two daughters, Nicole and Kelli Glover. Isaac was a dedicated son to his parents, devoted brother to his siblings, and loving father to his children.  Isaac was very competitive in sports and played on such teams as 20 Plus, Jerseyland Bombers, and Jerseyland Touch Football League. He enjoyed to play basketball, would shoot from anywhere on the court, and rarely missed a shot. He loved playing baseball and with him as a "catcher", heading to home base was not easy for the opposing team. His other hobbies included playing racquetball with his buddies, teaching his children how to play ball, run track, bike ride and how to drive before they were legally supposed to ;).    In its entirety, Isaac's professional career included employment at Bell Laboratories for 9 years in Murray Hill NJ (store keeper), Arrow Paper Co., Inc. in Plainfield, NJ for 12 years (precision paper cutter), and later working for The Greater Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio for 15 years as a security supervisor. In Ohio he met his longtime companion, Cynthia Booker, to which his daughter and son, Ariel and Isaac Jr. were born. As Isaac grew older his children and family became his central focus. He loved hanging out with his kids, watching his favorite shows, and calling his NJ and Ohio family daily to see how everyone was doing. He was charming, charismatic, had a signature laugh and loved to dance to his favorite songs. Isaac found pleasure in ensuring, that individuals in his presence had a great time. He was his four children's hero, and was determined not to let anything stop him from being an active participant in their lives. On March 14, 2017, Isaac passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn and cherish his four children: Nicole (Duane), Kelli, Ariel, and Isaac Jr., one grandson Chase Davis; his Beloved Mother Mrs. Eva Glover; 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Samuel, Lloyd (Tammy), Valerie, Yvonne, and Mary (Eric).
