Obituary for Ella Mae McKeithan

Ella Mae McKeithan was born in Johnsonville, SC and later moved to Plainfield with her family where she was a Plainfield High School graduate. She departed this life Aug. 6, 2018 in Somerville, NJ. Ella was a wife, mother, friend, Sunday school teacher, who was technically savvy. She was employed as a line leader with Q.E.I. Electronics in Springfield, NJ where she became a manager and where the company treated her like family. Her loving spirit and devotion to helping others was shown by mentoring and friendship. She was a parental role model that was above reproach.

Ella’s outlook on life and her upbeat attitude provided others the opportunity to see things in a different light. They say mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever. She showed this unconditionally and unselfishly.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert McKeithan; her mother Liza Fleming; two brothers, Reginald and Douglas Fleming, Jr. and her grandmother Cecil Fleming.

She leaves to cherish he memory her daughters Donna Quinnie of Theodore, AL and Lisa Gil of Katy, TX; her beloved son Robert McKeithan, II of San Antonio, TX; 2 grandchildren Alecia and Ryan; her father Douglas Fleming of Plainfield ; 2 sisters Jean and Joyce Davis; 1 brother Kevin Fleming (Arrita) of Piscataway, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews.
