Obituary for Duease Myers, Jr.

Duease Myers, Jr., 63. Departed this life Sun. March 25, 2018 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Allendale, SC, he was a lifelong Plainfield resident and Plainfield High School graduate. He was employed as the church sexton at Mr. Zion A.M.E. Church in Plainfield where he was a member. As a member he sang in the Male Chorus and Cathedral Choir, served as an usher, was a former Trustee and was a member of the Lay Organization. He was also formerly employed as the church sexton at the Rose of Sharon Community Church also in Plainfield.

He is predeceased by his father Duease Myers, Sr. and two sisters Ella Mae Robinson and Neta Myers Pringley and one brother Gregory Myers.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Tyesha Roberts and Khadijah Myers; two sons Marquis Duncan and Richard Bryon Thomas; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his mother Janie Myers; his siblings Elijah Myers, Reginald Ferguson, Darlene McPleasant, Tammy Smith and Anthony Myers. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends.
